Carles Ferrer
Carles leads the Enterprise/Software vertical for Nauta Capital.
Carles has extensive Venture Capital experience, having actively managed different VC funds since 2000. Carles has been Director of the Venture Capital
Division at Grupo Financiero Riva Y Garcia. His previous experience includes management positions in corporate strategy and finance dvisions with blue chip
companies in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Earlier in his career, Carles was an Auditor with Ernst & Young. Carles currently sits on several
Boards of technology companies (software and security, Videogames and Publishing) both in Spain and the US. Carles is a member of the Board of Directors of
Angitio, Scytyl and Abiquo (portfolio companies) Carles is very active in the entrepreneurial/VC ecosystem as an active Board Member, judge or panelist in
industry-leading events such as the Global Security Challenge, The European Venture Contest, SeedCamp and the IBM SmartC, among others.
He holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Universitat de Barcelona, a Graduate degree in International Management from Harvard University
and an MBA from DSA Bocconi (Milan, Italy).
Albert E. Sisto
Al has over 35 years of experience in the high-tech industry and is currently a Venture Partner with Nauta Capital and a General Partner of Sixth Bridge L.
P., where he serves as an investor and business advisor to private companies. He is also currently Chairman of Acctuall, Inc., a SaaS financial services and
analytics company, and Executive Chairman of CertiVox, Ltd., a SaaS cloud security provider. He also serves as a board member for Agnitio S.L., a voice
biometrics company..Prior to joining Nauta Capital, Al was Chairman and CEO of Hifn from November 2006 until its merger with Exar Corporation in April 2009.
He also was Chairman, President and CEO of Phoenix Technologies, and Chief Operating Officer at RSA Data Security, Inc. Al has also held executive positions
at PixelCraft, Inc., MIPS Technologies, Ingres, Intel and Honeywell.
Al earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
Jordi Robert
Jordi also holds the position of Investment Manager at a Family Office and is member of several Boards of Directors of technology companies. In the past,
Jordi was responsible for raising third round capital for a start-up company, was appointed as R&D manager of Singapore Telecom Optus in Australia and also
carried out extensive research within academic institutions in both France and Australia.
Jordi holds a postgraduate in Finance Management of Technology Companies and a PhD in Signal Processing and Automatic Speech Recognition as well as an
undergraduate engineering degree in Telecommunications.
Mark Searle - CEO
Mark brings years of experience leading high-growth technology organizations. Prior to Kinamik he was President, co-founder and CEO of Log Savvy Corporation,
a leading provider of hosted log data management and analysis software. Before Log Savvy he co-founded Addamark Technologies -now SenSage, Inc.- a pioneer in
the SIEM market space, which he led as CEO through its first several years. Previously he was COO of bamboo.com, a leading online visual content provider,
developing the company from a 27-person startup through multiple private financing rounds, IPO and a subsequent merger that created Internet Pictures Corp.
[NASDAQ: IPIX]. Prior to IPIX Mark held executive positions with Cybergold and Plynetics Express Corporation.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB cum laude in English and Creative Writing from Princeton.
