The Kinamik Secure Audit Vault helps organizations comply with the following regulations:
- ISO27001 – Information Security Management System: This standard establishes an information security management system, and it is used by many organizations to provide information security assurance. This standard uses controls -for risk assessment- that are derived from ISO27002 - Code of practice for information security management. Section 10.10.3 of this standard state that "Logging facilities and log information should be protected against tampering and unauthorized access". The Kinamik Secure Audit Vault provides a user-independent protection for any tampering, even from the most privileged user such as System or Database Administrators. Furthermore, section 12.3 and 10.8.1(g) state that organizations must protect the confidentiality, integrity and authenticity of information using cryptographic means. The Kinamik Secure Audit Vault can provide properties of authenticity, confidentiality and integrity.
