The event featured presentations from over 55 participating startup companies as part of a rigorous selection and screening process.

Presenting to an expert judging committee that was composed of venture capitalists, corporate investors and technology leaders, Kinamik CEO Mark Searle emphasized Kinamik's unique value proposition, technologies and future opportunities for growth. The stated goal of the Tech Media Europe 2012 event is to identify the most promising tech startups across Europe. The event's top presenters are automatically qualified for the European Venture Summit and given a chance to reach the final of the European Venture Contest.
