Kinamik unveils version 1.4.1 of the Kinamik Secure Audit Vault

Tuesday, September 28 2010 - Kinamik Data Integrity announces the release of the new 1.4.1 version of the Kinamik Secure Audit Vault that brings, among other features, new supported platforms, increased security and improvement in message routing and filtering.

This latest version includes the new Windows Event Log feed, which allows users to secure any event generated by the world's most popular Operating System, processing events from PCs, servers and other applications or infrastructure components running in Windows. Version 1.4.1 also takes to the next level the confidentiality and authenticity features of the Kinamik Secure Audit Vault’s event repositories (also known as Audit Trails). The new granular encryption capabilities allows users to set individual audit trails to be visible by specific auditors and -if desired- completely inaccessible to others. The security and authenticity of these audit trails can also be increased by the interfacing of each one of them with internal or third-party Time Stamping Authorities (TSAs). This connection is constantly monitored, so if the connection between the tool and the TSA is lost, an automatic alarm will be sent to administrators so proper measures can be taken. Finally, users are now able to create and program sophisticated rules that allow filtering of the events captured by the Kinamik Secure Audit Vault, effectively providing superior event management capabilities and allowing, for example, to automatically discard superfluous events or to re-route highly valuable records to specifically-configured audit trails that may have added encryption or specific viewing permits.
