Monday, January 31st, 2011 - Kinamik Data Integrity has been selected by the Rovira i Virgili University and the University of Girona –two leading educational institutions in Spain- to meet the requirements of Law 11/2007 by protecting and preserving in real-time their e-Government’s audit trails.

As with many other public institutions in Spain, Rovira I Virgili University and the University of Girona had to comply with Spain’s Law 11/2007. This law demands them to create and build services that would allow electronic interaction with their students, following strict requirements in data protection, access rights to information management and ensure the preservation and protection of data integrity. When implementing these services, both universities acknowledged the need to assure the preservation of the audit logs associated with these new services’ transactions, so they chose the Kinamik Secure Audit Vault to resolve this issue.

The Kinamik solution is currently being implemented at the Rovira i Virgili University.
