Kinamik Data Integrity Launches version 1.1 of the Secure Audit Vault

After the succesful launch of version 1.0, Kinamik Data Integrity announces the launch of version 1.1 of their Secure Audit Vault. The Kinamik Secure Audit Vault is a powerful and cost-effective tool that provides data integrity protection for sensitive data, providing proof that the secured information has not been manipulated from the moment it was created..

"We’ve been seeing an increasing concern on how to preserve the integrity of electronic information in organizations" said Nadeem Bukhari, VP of Product Strategy at Kinamik. "With version 1.0 we pioneered on providing tamper-evident properties to sensitive data, giving irrefutable proof of the integrity of information. In Version 1.1, user’s feedback allowed us to build upon those capabilities with even more performance enhancements, lower cost of ownership and greater usability".

Same as the previous version, users can download and try the Kinamik Secure Audit Vault v1.1 for free for a limited 30-day period, with no commitments or obligations associated. This downloadable version comes pre-packed in a virtual appliance, eliminating the burden of installation, integration, maintenance and administration.

Kinamik Data Integrity will present at the 3rd Annual Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG) Counter-Ecrime Operations Summit (CeCOS III)

The event will be held in Barcelona on May 12-14, 2009. Kinamik will join industry and public agency electronic crime responders, investigators and counter-electronic crime technologists from across the globe for this international conference, dedicated to uniting the industry and public sector's response to the global electronic crime afflictions.

Nadeem Bukhari, Kinamik's CTO, will be giving his vision on how audit technology and strong data integrity is necessary to build trust, transparency and accountability in information exchange platforms. “Information exchanges between e-crime professionals are important to stay ahead of criminals,” said Bukhari. “Trust and accountability on how these systems are being used is equally critical to guarantee adoption”.

Peter Cassidy, APWG secretary general, summarizes today's situation: "the criminal artisans that have organized on the Internet are growing in technical sophistication and command, and in their capacity to cloak themselves from detection", he said. "At CeCOS III, the APWG will make a very important proposition: to create a unified response to electronic crime as organized as the crimes themselves -- a response to electronic crime without frontiers".
