The new Spanish Law 11/2007 (also known as "Ley 11/2007, de acceso electrónico de los ciudadanos a los Servicios Públicos") has as main purpose to guarantee that citizens have the right to access and use Public Administrations' services. It also ensures that the interoperability between different Administrations required for providing these services is fully compliant with legal issues such as data protection, access rights to information management and the preservation and protection of data integrity.
The new law mandates the creation of an electronic office (sede electrónica) which acts as the main point of contact between citizens and the Administration. The holder of the office must "ensure the integrity, truthfulness and correctness of the information and services" that can be accessed through it. By making any undetected tampering virtually impossible, Kinamik Secure Audit Vault provides provable guarantees of transparency, allowing comprehensive accountability for any participant in the services provided by the office. It also offers irrefutable traceability up to the highest level of detail for every process and service available.
On the other hand, Law 11/2007 dictates that electronic records (registros electrónicos) must be generated every time citizens request or receive an online form, communication or resolution.
