Barcelona - Tuesday, September 27th, 2011 - The Spanish Senate, the upper house of Spain's Parliament, has selected Kinamik Data Integrity products to secure specific transactions within their e-Government initiative. This initiative, framed in a project awarded to Kinamik Data Integrity's partner VASS, focuses on the implementation of a web portal that would allow the Spanish Senate to provide e-services to Spanish Citizens.

As part of the bid for the Project, the Spanish Senate established clear and specific requirements for authenticity and integrity assurance for key services provided, with the objective of giving these electronic records the maximum legal admissibility and evidential weight. The project was also subject to compliance with Spanish Law 11/2007, which sets the framework for all Spanish public administrations to follow when building new electronic channels for interacting with citizens. VASS, as a valued Kinamik Partner, offered a comprehensive set of technological solutions that included the Kinamik Secure Audit Vault, successfully winning the bid for building a secure, trustworthy and fully-compliant Web Portal for the Spanish Senate.
